Certain roads in Armenia barely passable
Armenia’s Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies told Panorama.am that as of 10:00, January 26 clear ice is observed on Artik - Alagyaz road.
Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for light vehicles and shut down for trucks with trailers. due to blizzard and low visibility.
The road crews maintain all-day control over all the highways of the republic, carrying out cleaning works with chemical salt and sand.
All other interstate and republican roads of the country are open for traffic.
