Armenian parliament passes several bills
The Armenian National Assembly adopted several bills after putting them to a vote at a regular session on Friday.
In particular, lawmakers overwhelmingly adopted in the second reading and in full a bill on making amendments and supplements to the law on ensuring road traffic safety. A total of 91 lawmakers voted for the bill.
A draft law proposing amendments and supplements to the law on motorways also passed the second parliamentary reading with 93 votes in favor.
A total of 94 MPs backed in the first reading the government-drafted bill on making amendments and supplements to the law on advocacy.
Also, the parliament adopted in the first reading and the proposed amendments and supplements to the law on military service and the status of servicemen.
