No effective progress expected without the decisive voice of Artsakh, Armenia’s FM says
“We work with the Artsakh leadership before and after every round of talks around the Nagorno Karabakh issue,” Armenia’s FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stated on Thursday at the Q/A session in the parliament, adding both the Prime Minister and he himself work with Artsakh President and foreign minister.
Mnatsakanyan added that there is a clear working format which is in line with the government approach to raise the Artsakh voice in the negotiations process. “You may know that the Artsakh participation in the negotiations process is a complex yet principal issue. Without the decisive voice of Artsakh no effective progress is expected, thus our cooperation with the leadership of Artsakh has always been and remains principal and efficient,” Mnatsakanyan said.
The FM next added that internal discussions with Artsakh authorities may be open and sharp which is not to conclude it may reflect on the unity of the two Armenian sides.
