OSCE mission conducts Artsakh-Azerbaijan border monitoring
In accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh Republic), the OSCE mission is today conducting a planned monitoring of the ceasefire regime on the border of Artsakh and Azerbaijan, in the north-east of the Hadrut region.
From the positions of the Artsakh Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Field Assistants to the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ognjen Jovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Ghenadie Petrica (Moldova), the country’s Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
From the opposite side of the border, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office (CiO) Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Field Assistant Mihail Olaru (Moldova) and Personal Assistant to the CiO Personal Representative Simon Tiller (Great Britain).
The Artsakh authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE mission members.
