Vacated parliamentary mandate granted to Artur Manukyan
Central Electoral Commission of Armenia gave on Friday a vacated parliamentary mandate of the ruling My Step faction Edgar Arakelyan to Artur Manukyan. Manukyan was the next candidate in the national electoral list of the My Step alliance in the 2018 snap parliamentary elections
The central electoral committee granted the mandate to the new MP during today’s sitting.
The decision came a day after the duties of ruling My Step faction MP Edgar Arakelyan were formally terminated. Arakelyan tendered his resignation on 30 August, noting the decision is of a personal character and is not enforced by anyone.
