Asadov approved as Azerbaijan's new PM
Azerbaijan's parliament on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve the candidacy of presidential aide Ali Asadov as prime minister, after Norvuz Mammadov tendered his resignation, the parliamentary speaker said, according to Daily Sabah.
"The president has appointed his economic advisor Ali Asadov as new prime minister," National Assembly Speaker Oktay Asadov told lawmakers
Lawmakers approved the nomination in a 105 to 0 vote. Asadov thanked the parliament for its trust in a speech after being voted in.
