Disinfection activities conducted in 49 supermarkets in Yerevan
The servicemen of Armenia’s ministry of emergency situations (MES) continue disinfection activities across the country in the framework of the fight against the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). As the ministry reported in a press statement, on April 4, 49 supermarkets in capital Yerevan have been sanitized. By the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations, disinfection activities will continue at major foot markets and groceries in the regions.
From March April 1 to 4, the Departments of the Rescue Service implemented sanitation and hygiene preventive measures in 128 public places of Gegharkunik, Shirak, Tavush, Lori regions and capital Yerevan. The places include Governor’s Offices, public transport stops, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the territory of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP).
Considering the epidemic situation, disinfection activities are also being implemented in the Subdivisions of the Regional Recue Departments. The subdivision buildings, yards and all types of vehicles, furniture, equipment and combat uniform are being disinfected daily.
