
Coronavirus updates: 175 new cases, three deaths recorded in Armenia on August 29
Armenia has confirmed 175 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 43,626 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, August 29, the Ministry of Health reports.
299 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 37,563. The coronavirus death toll has increased by three to 1,138 - 266 of whom diagnosed positive for coronavirus but the cause of the death was another disease.
The latest victims were 80 (female), 63 (male) and 64 (male) years-old and all had underlying chronic health conditions. The number of active cases is 4,925.
As many as 203,979 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
