Armenia reports 327 fresh COVID-19 cases on September 29

Armenia has confirmed 327 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 49,901 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, the Ministry of Health reports.

184 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 43,849.

The coronavirus death toll has increased by one to 958. The latest victim was a 70-year-old woman with underlying chronic health conditions. Another person carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

The number of active cases is 4,798.

As many as 289,047 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
