Armenia’s COVID-19 deaths reached 3,715 on January 16

Armenia has confirmed 263 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 164,235 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, the Ministry of Health reports.

295 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 152,615.

The coronavirus death toll has increased by 13. Two other patients carrying the virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours. In total, the number of Covid-19  deaths has reached 3,715. 

The number of active cases is 7,905. As many as 620,704 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
