Armenia reports 140 fresh COVID-19 cases on July 7
Armenia has confirmed 140 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 225,801 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, the Ministry of Health reports.
53 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 217,303.
The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 1 to 4,531. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,101 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 2,866 active cases. As many as 1,215,373 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
