"Over the past two months we had two victims on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. We convey our condolences to the family members and relatives of the victims and draw the attention of our partners from the CSTO and OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs on this fact," acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated on Tuesday during the cabinet session. 

Pashinyan went on stating that Azerbaijan's reluctance to return the Armenian prisoners remains another factor obstructing the peace in the region.

"We will continue the work to return all prisoners. The comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, delimitation and demarcation works across the border, unblocking the communication routes have been and will be on the agenda of our priorities. At the same time, Azerbaijan with its uncontructive actions violates not only the provisions of the trilateral statement from November 9, 2020, but also attempts to disrupt the process of unblocking transport routes envisaged by the provisions of the January 11 trilateral statement. It also impedes the April 13 statement of the OSCE Minsk Group about the resumption of the peace process and the regional stability in general. Such actions of Azerbaijan are a challenge to the international law and all parties interested in peace and stability in our region," said Pashinyan.
