Poet of the Keyboard’: Pianist Lusine Khachatryan to perform in Yerevan
Pianist Lusine Khachatryan will perform with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Eduard Topchyan.
The concert is scheduled for 21 November at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan, organizers said.
The program features Alexander Spendiaryan’s "Three Palms" symphonic poem and Alexander Iradyan’s "Last Night" theatricalized poem for piano and orchestra (world premiere).
In today's classical music world Lusine Khachatryan is considered a “Poet of the Keyboard”. She has received numerous awards and prizes throughout her artistic development. Among them are the Musical Advancement Award of the Baden Cultural Foundation, the Scholarship of the “Freundeskreis” of the Music Academy of Karlsruhe, and a special grant from the German foundation, Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
