Temperatures set to drop in Armenia
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of Armenia from 4 to 8 August, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports. No rain is forecast for August 9.
Wildfire risks remain high in the country’s valleys and foothills.
The southwestern wind speed is 2-5 m/s. Strong winds of up to 20 m/s are predicted during thunderstorms and in the evening.
Temperatures are set to drop by 3-5C across the country on August 6-8.
Showers and thunderstorms are also possible in the capital Yerevan on August 5-8.
