The studies of the Center for Law and Justice Tatoyan Foundation show that the Azerbaijani media have full access to the sole road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, known as the Lachin corridor, blocked by a large group of Azerbaijanis since Monday, reporting live from there. Whereas, Armenian media outlets have no coverage and are not even allowed to approach the place.

The Azerbaijani media are spreading provocative videos and fake news, inciting animosity and Armenophobia, the Tatoyan Foundation said in a statement on Wednesday.

“We are calling the international community’s attention to this fact and state with confidence that this is one of the pre-planned steps of the Azerbaijani authorities aimed at filling the sphere only with the one-sided information they need,” it said.

“It’s no secret that the Azerbaijani media are controlled by the Azerbaijani authorities and are their indirect mouthpiece. The media outlets reporting from the Lachin corridor are sponsored by the Azerbaijani government.

“Obviously, the Azerbaijani blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the gas supply cutoff are part of Azerbaijan's criminal policy of depopulating Artsakh and leaving 120,000 people in isolation,” reads the statement.
