FM: Safe connection between Armenia, Artsakh must be restored

The UN Security Council emergency meeting on Tuesday clearly indicates the strong and unequivocal international consensus on the immediate re-opening of the Lachin Corridor, the sole road connecting Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said on Wednesday.

“The UN Security Council yesterday's discussion clearly indicates the strong and unequivocal international consensus on immediate and unconditional opening of the Lachin Corridor which is blocked by Azerbaijan,” he tweeted.

“Safe and secure connection between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh must be restored,” the minister stressed.
