Car crash leaves five wounded in Armenia
Five people, including one minor, have been injured in the wake of a traffic crash in Armenia early on Friday.
The accident occurred on the Vanadzor-Spitak highway and involved VAZ-2107 and VAZ-2106 cars, Armenia’s Rescue Service reported.
A fire and rescue squad of the Rescue Service’s regional department was dispatched to the scene.
Before the arrival of rescuers, four crash victims had been taken to the Vanadzor Medical Center. Two of them were said to be in serious condition.
A passenger of VAZ-2107 was hospitalized later through rescuers’ efforts.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
