Tina Turner's £58m Swiss retreat to be turned into museum

Tina Turner's £58m Swiss weekend retreat is reportedly set to be turned into museum.

The sprawling property in Stäfa is situated just 30 minutes away from the mansion which she lived in with husband Erwin Bach, on the banks of Lake Zurich, Daily Mail said.

Following, Tina's death at the age of 83 last week, it is now being claimed that her widower plans to use it to showcase memorabilia from the late superstar' career.

The couple purchased the century-old, 260,000-square-foot property in the village of Staefa, back in September 2021.

The stunning property boasts its own pond, stream, swimming pool and boat deck in the exclusive neighbourhood that is also home to tennis star Roger Federer.

According to Swiss newspaper Blick and The Mirror, the retreat could now be used to display memorabilia from throughout her career.

It comes after it emerged that a memorial dedicated to Tina Turner is currently being planned out by the local government of her hometown in Brownsville, Tennessee.

The city's mayor, Bill Rawls Jr., recently spoke to TMZ and said he intended to have a statue of the late hitmaker installed in her memory and that he already obtained support from local leaders.

The statue of Turner would likely be located at Brownsville's Heritage Park, located not far from Carver High School, which she attended during her teenage years.
