Yerevan court sets first hearing in case against fallen soldier's mother
The Yerevan Criminal Court of General Jurisdiction will hold the first hearing in the case against Gayane (Azgush) Martirosyan, the mother of fallen soldier Zhora Martirosyan, in early June.
Presiding judge Manvel Shahverdyan has set the pretrial hearing for June 5, the woman’s lawyer, Grigori Melikyan, said on Tuesday.
Gayane Martirosyan is charged with attempting to “kidnap” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's son, Ashot Pashinyan.
The Shengavit District Court of General Jurisdiction in Yerevan approved the woman’s pre-trial detention for one month on May 20.
