Vardan Voskanyan: 'It's either us or the barbarians'
Iran specialist Vardan Voskanyan rejects the “Artsakh issue” wording, claiming it creates a false impression that there is a “separate local issue”.
"In fact, there is no separate "Artsakh issue", but a bigger struggle for survival between the Armenian civilization and the barbaric enemy, while Artsakh is only one frontline of this struggle,” he wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
“Therefore, the ongoing life-and-death struggle against the enemy in Artsakh is a part of this pan-Armenian struggle for survival.
"And if, God forbid, we, as a nation and a state, do not win this struggle, the enemy will eventually blockade all our regions, cities, villages, yards and houses, because there is no alternative in this struggle: It's either us or the barbarians," Voskanyan emphasizes.
