Expert insists on ouster of current Armenian leaders
Varuzhan Geghamyan, an academic and expert on Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, insists on the ouster of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government as the only way to “save” the country.
He shared a map on social media showing Azerbaijan’s upcoming plans to capture Syunik Province, adding the current authorities “have nether capacity nor desire to stop it.”
“The leadership that has failed in all spheres cannot ensure stability and peace,” the expert wrote on Facebook on Saturday, blaming the Armenian authorities for Azerbaijan’s latest large-scale military offensive against Artsakh.
“Not counting the 2020 war, they have already brought thee wars which resulted in territorial losses and hundreds of casualties not only in Artsakh, but also in Armenia’s regions. I'm not even talking about dozens of Armenian captives being held in Baku prisons for three years now,” Geghamyan stated.
“So, the removal of Armenia’s de-facto authorities is the only way out,” he added.
