Protest held outside Artsakh Representation in Armenia
A large group of people forced to flee their homes in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) have been protesting outside the Artsakh Permanent Representation in Armenia since Friday morning, demanding a meeting with President Samvel Shahramanyan.
Shahramanyan stepped out to meet with protesters after some of them broke into the building. He answered some of their questions before betting back to the building which sparked outrage among protesters.
Some of them attempted to break through the police line but did not succeed.
Large police forces were deployed outside the Artsakh Representation building.
More than 100,000 people have fled Nagorno-Karabakh since its violent seizure by Azerbaijan in mid-September.
