Opposition MP: Armenia is ruled by 'a group of marginal people'
Armenia is actually ruled by a “group of marginal people who are trying to pretend to be the majority”, MP Hayk Mamijanyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and head of the opposition Pativ Unem faction in the Armenian parliament, told reporters in the Yerablur Military Pantheon on Friday.
Mamijanyan and his teammates visited Yerablur to pay their respects to the memory of RPA founder Ashot Navasardyan on his death anniversary.
Mamijanyan claims the majority in Armenia are those who share the RPA founder’s ideology.
"They are just a group of marginal people who are in power now, which, I believe, will not last long,” the MP stressed.
