Lawyer: No one held to account after pregnant woman killed by Pashinyan's motorcade
Lawyer Raffi Aslanyan has reacted to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's latest claims that Armenian citizens still “lack a sense of justice and inevitability of justice”.
In a social media post, he highlights that no one has been held to account after young pregnant woman Sona Mnatsakanyan was hit and killed by a police car escorting Pashinyan's motorcade in April 2022.
“How can Armenian citizens have such a feeling when no one has been brought to justice two years after the prime minister’s motorcade ran over and killed a pregnant woman crossing a street?,” the lawyer wrote on Facebook on Wednesday, accusing the authorities of attempts to “cover up” the case.
