Parliament speaker says Russia 'screwed' Armenia

The Armenian parliament speaker on Monday accused Russia of abandoning Armenia and falling to fulfil its security commitments.

“Armenia has always acted as a loyal partner, hoping until the very last moment that Russia would not leave Armenia alone,” Alen Simonyan told reporters on Monday.

“Russia’s authorities screwed Armenia and the Armenian people. I’d like to make it clear that they deceived and abandoned us,” he stated.
