Armenian Foreign Ministry closely following developments in Syria
The Armenian Foreign ministry is closely monitoring the developments in Syria, it said in a press release on Thursday.
The diplomatic staff of the Armenian Embassy in Damascus, including the Armenian consul general in Aleppo, continue to work in Beirut.
The two hotlines launched previously remain active (the Consulate General in Aleppo: +963960003622, the Embassy in Beirut: +96176447205).
In case of problems with telephone communication, the Armenian Embassy in Beirut can be contacted via e-mail at [email protected].
According to the ministry, in the past four days the hotline requests were related to necessary documents, mainly for Armenian entry visa applications.
"The embassy has provided the necessary support in all cases, issuing visas for Syrian Armenians free of charge," the statement said.
