Ex-ambassador questions who is funding Anna Hakobyan's Washington trip
Former Armenian Ambassador to Canada Ara Papyan raised a question on social media regarding the expenses for a visit to Washington by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's spouse, Anna Hakobyan.
"I’d like to address the following question to the State Protocol Service and Armenia’s chief prosecutor: Who is covering the costs of Anna Hakobyan’s trip to Washington, given that Nikol Pashinyan's visit is not official, but private as he is set to attend the National Prayer Breakfast?" he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
"Incidentally, more than 3,000 individuals from over 100 countries are expected to attend the event," the former ambassador added.
