Car crash in Spitak leaves 5 injured

A major traffic accident in Armenia's Lori Province left five people injured on Wednesday when an Isuzu truck and a Dodge passenger vehicle collided on the winding roads near Spitak.

Authorities said the crash occurred at around 1 p.m. local time. Both drivers, identified as Arsen S. and Arsen K., were involved in the collision. The injured were taken to Spitak Medical Center.

Police patrol units and an investigative team from the Interior Ministry responded to the scene. The Investigative Committee’s Spitak division has opened a criminal case to determine the circumstances of the crash and identify the victims.
