Makunts declines comment on possible appointment as chief of PM's staff
Former Armenian Ambassador to the U.S. Lilit Makunts on Thursday declined to address speculation that she may be tapped as chief of staff to the prime minister.
“I have no comment on any matter at this point. Thank you,” Makunts told reporters after a cabinet meeting.
Her brief remarks came in response to a question about whether she would assume the senior government post. She also did not elaborate on what might be driving the anticipated changes within the executive branch.
