Evening winds expected in Armenia

Evening wind gusts are forecast in Armenia from July 23–27, with speeds reaching 14–20 meters per second, according to the national weather service.

In Yerevan, brief showers and thunderstorms are possible on July 23–24, while dry conditions are expected on July 25–27. Across the country, scattered rain and thunderstorms may occur on July 23 and 25 in the afternoon, and on July 24 overnight and midday, with hail possible in some areas.

Dry weather is forecast for July 26–27. Winds will generally be southwesterly at 2–5 meters per second, strengthening during storms. Evening gusts of 15–18 m/s are expected in Armavir, Aragatsotn, Kotayk foothills, and parts of Shirak. Temperatures are not expected to change significantly.
