Truck driver killed in rollover crash in Armenian region

A truck driver was killed on Saturday when his vehicle overturned on the Talin–Karakert highway in Armenia’s Aragatsotn Province, Shamshyan.com reported.

The crash occurred at around 12:40 p.m. near the 12th kilometer of the road. Police said the KamAZ truck, carrying a load of stones, tipped onto its side. The driver, identified as 51-year-old Edik H., was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency crews from the Interior Ministry’s Rescue Service and local fire units responded, along with patrol officers from the Aragatsotn division. The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case into the accident.
