Karabakh soldier killed by Azerbaijani fire
An Armenian soldier, Arsen Karapetyan (born in 1995), received a fatal gunshot wound on the frontline position of a military unit in the eastern direction of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army, as a result of Azerbaijani shooting, the NKR Defense Ministry’s press service said.
An investigation is underway to clarify details of the incident.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact with Nagorno-Karabakh about 200 times on March 2 and on the night of March 3, with over 3,000 shots fired towards the Armenian frontline positions from weapons of various calibers, mortars and grenade launchers.
Frontline units of the NKR Defense Army took response measures to silence the enemy. They keep the situation on the frontline under control.
