LA Nokia Theatre to host 10th annual Armenian Music Awards ceremony

Partnered with M/club music awards, Armenian Music Awards-2009 ceremony is due in Los Angeles Nokia Theatre December 13, according to www.armenianmusicaward.com.

Singers from Armenia and Diaspora will be running in 27 nominations at the 10th jubilee award ceremony.

Leyla Saribekyan, Shushan Petrosyan, Alla Levonyan, etc. have been nominated as Best Female Vocalists.

Artash Asatryan, Artur Sarukyan, Bghdo, etc. will be running for the Traditional Pop Male.

Arsen Grigoryan, Arman Hovhannisyan, Arthur Ispiryan, etc. have been nominated as Best Male Vocalists.

Alex Theatre, California hosted the first Armenian Music Awards ceremony October 7, 1998. Charles Aznavour, System of a Down and Jivan Gasparyan were among the first winners.

A number of states to host Armenian Culture Days

Armenian culture will be represented in a number of states this year – Bulgaria, Georgia, Egypt, China, Syria, Krasnodar region of Russia, Culture Ministry PR coordinator Gayane Durgaryan told Panorama.am.
