A. Iskandaryan: NK President’s statement to express Karabakh’s position
“I don’t think president’s statement means any changes. President Sahakyan has just meant that Karabakh doesn’t want any other side to solve his fate,” expert Alexander Iskandaryan answered to Panorama.am question as NKR President Bako Sahakyan said they are ready to have direct negotiations with Baku.
Expert says Armenia is holding negotiations for Nagorno-Karabakh, because Azerbaijan refuses talks with Nagorno-Karabakh.
Thus, NK President’s statement just underlines Artsakh’s position: “Azerbaijan isn’t ready to resolve the conflict of Nagorno-Karabakh, hence they are not committed to hold negotiations with Karabakh,” A. Iskandaryan said.
