Belgian FM: Armenia, Belgium need to enhance cooperation
Armenia and Belgium need to enhance cooperation in diamond cutting, medicine, construction, and work to develop small and medium business, visiting Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders told a news conference in Yerevan.
According to him, Armenia and Belgium need to sign new agreements as what exists today is not sufficient, taking into consideration the existing potential.
The Belgian FM expressed hope that at the Eastern Partnership summit in Riga each member country will be able to advance further based on its potential and previous success.
“It is necessary to work with different partners. The fact that the agreements were signed with the EU does not mean it is impossible to sign agreements with neighbors, Russia or Asian countries. We must together initiate different moves to advance the bilateral cooperation,” Mr Reynders said.
