Armenia’s Youth Parliament holds plenary session
The plenary session of Armenia’s Youth Parliament (YP) took place on Friday.
Before approving the agenda, the swearing-in ceremony of the new members took place.
YP member, head of the Prosperous Armenia faction Makar Yeghiazaryan stated that taking into consideration the current domestic political situation in Armenia, the faction boycotts the work of the YP plenary session.
Then the parliamentarians debated the draft law “On Amending the Law on Advocacy” authored by Karen Amiryan, Artashes Khlghatyan, and Lusine Sahakyan.
Key speaker Artashes Khlghatyan presented the goal of the draft law and answered the MPs’ questions. The debate of the draft law will continue at the next plenary session.
