Expert said talks over Kelbajar are useless with Armenia
Political expert Yervand Bozoyan said at news conference today that he’s deeply alarmed with the international communities talking about Armenia to liberate the territories, but neither organization underscores any concession by Azerbaijan.
“It seems it’s a hangover and everybody talks about the return of the regions,” expert said adding that Armenia’s soft strategy possibly created that atmosphere. Expert says Armenia should adopt tougher disposition and answers strictly to any statement over return of the regions. Azerbaijan and Turkey play a swindling game and if that false news isn’t rejected by the upper instances hesitations may occur and Armenian side may do some concessions.
“Azerbaijan says we do make concessions since we don’t start the war. That is a real mocking, that should be stopped. I see real dangers for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. I think it’s impossible not to see that danger,” Bozoyan said.
Another expert Sergey Minasyan told at the news conference that the news about returning Kelbajar and Fizuli are false. “There’s nothing real concerning particularly those two regions,” expert said adding that the Armenian side may prefer to start a war than to return Kelbajar. “Those who study the case, should know it’s useless to have any talks with Armenia over Kelbajar,” Minasyan said.
The experts said they are deeply concerned about CE resolution recognizing Armenia as an aggressor and calling on us to take the troops out of the regions.
“We should acknowledge that European Parliament is bureaucratic institute and technically the adoption of such resolutions is possible and they sometimes make such kicks,” expert said.
