President: We have never avoided challenges… we are not that kind
“Award ceremonies usually take place within the framework of festive events. It is a good occasion to appreciate and praise those who are worthy of our attention every day, who do their work conscientiously advancing our society,” President Serzh Sargsyan said in his speech during the ceremony of conferring titles and awarding medals on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of Armenian Independence to a number of prominent figures in science, education, culture, art, individuals working in spheres of state service, law enforcement.
“We always say that man is the most important value for us, especially merited man who conscientiously does his duty. We are grateful to all those who willingly do their work with their talent and conscientiousness,” S. Sargsyan said.
The President congratulated the participants of the event on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of Armenian Independence.
“19 years is not much for a state, meanwhile it is binding. Much has been done in this period, yet there is still much to do. I am convinced that with your support and participation of other talented individuals we will be able to resolve all problems our statehood and state face. We have never avoided challenges as to avoid means to surrender, yet we are not that kind.”
