Erdogan sent letter to Obama referring to Armenian Genocide Resolution
Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu declared in Mejlis that PM Erdogan sent a letter to President of the United States Barack Obama referring the latest news over Armenian Genocide and demanded to stop the process of bringing Armenian Genocide Resolution to Congress Plenary Session, “Anka” news agency reports.
According to information released by Turkish Government Erdogan expressed deepest concern in that letter that Turkish-American ties could be seriously threatened if N252 Resolution on Armenian Genocide was adopted.
It’s worth reminding that the resolution was adopted by Foreign House Committee in March.
