Armenian MFA: Armenia will not support Turkish diplomat candidacy for OSCE Chairperson-in-Office mission
Armenia is not going to support the candidacy of a Turkish diplomat for OSCE Chairperson-in-Office mission, Armenian MFA press speaker Tigran Balayan told Panorama.am.
Azerbaijani media outlets referring to Turkish “Haberturk” daily write that Turkish President Abdullah Gul is intended to send his special envoy Ersin Ercini to Armenia in March who will have a mission of handing Turkish President’s personal message to President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. The message will be urging Armenia to support candidacy of a Turkish diplomat for OSCE Chairperson-in-Office mission.
Our diplomatic sources inform Panorama.am that Turks have been numerously asking Armenia to support their Turkish candidate, but they have been told that such a political development is excluded.
