Military expert: UAVs have been destroyed earlier
“Airspace crossing cases have occurred earlier, too. When the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) study the territory they don’t necessarily serve danger for either party,” military expert Artsrun Hovhannisyan said in a news conference today referring to the destruction of an Azeri drone by Artsakh military forces.
Expert says though any official recording doesn’t exist but he’s sure similar cases have happened earlier, too. “Depending on the type, incident, day and the problem they either release it or not. It’s not always that such cases ought to be unveiled,” expert said.
“When you deal with a state border, a soldier, a position, it’s almost a secret,” said the expert.
