Iran warns Turkey not to play with security issues
Iran warns Turkey not to play with Iran’s national security, Iranian “tabnak.ir” said. Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the chairman of parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, presented the disposition of Iranian side during his visit to Ankara.
“It was a great mistake of yours allowing NATO anti-missile systems to be installed in your country, as in case of a threat, the military base of Injirlik will be primarily targeted, and that time, relations with you will be of no importance since the issue of Iran’s national security will be focused on.”
The Iranian MP, referring to the Syrian issue, said: “If you don’t change your wrong status towards Syria, forget any good relations with Iran.”
A couple of days ago Iranian commander for military air defense Ali Hajizade declared if any threat was exercised against Iran, NATO anti-missile defense systems installed in Turkey would be attacked first.
