Traian Hristea: EU assumed commitment to continue assisting reforms in Armenia
The EU Advisory Group has worked in Armenia for five years and although there were some problems regarding the European Union Association Agreement, the Armenia-European Union cooperation was very productive, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea said at the final session of the
EU Advisory Group in Armenia.
The EU has assumed a commitment to continue assisting the reform process in Armenia, Mr Hristea said.
He stressed that the EU Advisory Group has assisted the Armenian National Assembly and Presidential Administration. The Ambassador thanked Chief of Armenian Presidential Administration Vigen Sargsyan for cooperation and assistance.
Deputy Speaker of Armenian National Assembly Edward Sharmazanov, for his part, thanked his partners in the EU and said that the National Assembly attaches much importance to cooperation with the European Union.
