Armenia, China cooperate in cultural, economic and humanitarian sectors
Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, Head of Armenia-China Friendship Group Hermine Naghdalyan met with China’s Ambassador to Armenia Tian Erlong, the press service of the Armenian parliament reports.
Hermine Naghdalyan highlighted the high-level political contacts existing between the two countries, the exchange of experience, the mutual visits and the bilateral meetings.
In this context, Mrs Naghdalyan touched upon the activity of the Friendship Groups and invited the members of China-Armenia Friendship Group to visit Armenia. She highlighted the close cooperation with the All-China Women’s Federation and the women’s cooperation in the public and political life of the two countries. In her words, women MPs have many programs and ideas, and for their implementation, she expects the Ambassador’s support.
Tian Erlong emphasized that there is already a firm basis for the expansion of Armenian-Chinese ties and expressed willingness to make contribution to the development of inter-state cooperation and the implementation of different programs. He underscored the cooperation in the cultural, trade and economic and humanitarian sectors, noting that the trade between the two countries has increased.
The Ambassador thanked Mrs Naghdalyan for the big contribution to the development and strengthening of Armenian-Chinese relations.
The two sides also discussed issues related to the regional and geo-political processes.
