Zhogovurd: Presidential advisor often takes taxi cabs
Former chief of the Armenian policy Alik Sargsyan who now serves as an advisor to the Armenian president is often late for official events, ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper writes. A few days ago he was late even for National Security Council’s sessio held as part of ‘Shant 2015’ strategic command-and-staff exercises. He took a taxi to get there.
The ex- police chief has been often spotted getting out of a taxi and hurrying somewhere. When contacted by the paper, Alik Sargsyan said: “I returned home after ‘Shant 2015’ drills, had a snack, and since I already let my driver go as he had problems, I decided to hail a taxi outside. Is there anything wrong with going in a taxi. Or perhaps I have no right to do so?”
