Vladimir Putin orders signing agreement with Armenia on joint air defense system
Russian President Vladimir Putin gave instructions to sign an agreement with Armenia on the creation of a joint regional air defense system in the Caucasus, RIA Novosti reported.
The document says that the Russian government’s proposal to sign an agreement between Russia and Armenia on the creation of a joint regional air defense system in the Caucasus region of collective security shall be accepted.
The Russian Defense Ministry has received instructions to conduct talks – along with Foreign Ministry - with the Armenian side and sign an agreement on behalf of Russia.
