Putin: The year 2015 was marked by significant achievements in Russian-Armenian relations
Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on the upcoming New Year and Christmas, according to the website of the Kremlin.
In a message sent to Serzh Sargsyan, the Russian president said that the year 2015 was marked by significant achievements in various fields of Armenian-Russian relations. Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union opened new prospects for strengthening the Russian-Armenian alliance and partnership-based cooperation on the international arena.
V. Putin expressed confidence that joint work aimed at solving the pressing problems of bilateral cooperation and promoting mutually beneficial integration processes will continue successfully, which is in the best interests of the two fraternal nations and helps ensure peace, stability and security in the Eurasian territory.
