Russian FM deems Turkey’s approach on Karabakh escalation biased
“We do no blame any third part for escalating the conflict in Nagorno Karabakh, including Ankara, Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference held in Moscow.
“We were notified about the statement (on Karabakh escalation) by Turkish leadership which are biased. That is important for our Turkish neighbors to work toward not intervening with other states’ internal affairs - be that Iraq or Syria. Despite those calls, Turkey continues interfering, and promotes the terrorism,” Russia’s Foreign Minister noted.
At the same time the minister expressed concern over the continuation of the fights in Nagorno Karabakh.
"Minister Shoygu and I contacted our colleagues in Baku and Yerevan — the foreign and defense ministers of both countries. We expressed our grave concern and reiterated the Russian president's call to immediately stop violating the ceasefire regime," Lavrov told reporters.
