Spain's Marbella recognizes Armenian Genocide
The city council of Marbella, Spain has adopted an institutional declaration officially recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide. All the political forces voted for the document unanimously.
According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, city council representatives discussed the importance of the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide and its preventive significance especially considering the current geopolitical developments.
They also highlighted the importance of the recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide by the Spanish Government.
