Speaker Babloyan highlights French Ambassador’s contribution to strengthening of Armenian-French friendship
Armenian National Assembly (NA) Speaker Ara Babloyan evaluated Jean-Francois Charpentier’s contribution to the strengthening of the Armenian-French friendship and inter-parliamentary ties. Babloyan’s comments came at a meeting on Friday with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Armenia Jean-Francois Charpentier, who was completing his mission in our country.
Wishing successes to the Ambassador in his diplomatic further activities, the Head of the Parliament expressed confidence that he would continue to remain friend of Armenia in future, the press service at parliament reported.
According to the release, Jean-Francois Charpentier on his side noted that during these years he made his efforts to boost and strengthen the relations between France and Armenia. The Ambassador highly assessed the contribution of the RA NA President Ara Babloyan to the development and deepening of the ties between the two countries.
At the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon the issues relating to the cooperation and active contacts of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups, the creation of the French educational institutions in Armenia and boosting of cooperation between the Francophone countries.
To remind, earlier the French Ambassador was received by President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
